In this exciting role of Senior Manager, Global Operations, Beef Category Ops lead, you will be responsible for contributing to category innovation including new products by managing end-to-end operations and standards from design to post-launch evaluation for accelerating speed to market and scalability. This role leads development/launch of ops solutions related to category for its assigned category, acting as a trusted advisor and SME to segments, market, and function leaders.


This position reports to the Senior Director, Global Operations with dotted line reporting to the category Strategy lead and will be Chicago (MHQ) based.

Duties

  • Contribute to a cross functional team solving key prioritized valuable business problems by providing operations expertise, trainings and tools to ensure that solutions support a positive customer & crew experience.
  • Account for all restaurant dependencies during the creation of innovation plans, ensuring practicality of solutions which encompass changes to the restaurant layout, equipment setup, crew capacity, and assembly line impacts.
  • Consult on category solutions, influencing other leaders to consider operational impacts to best support scaling deployment across the system.
  • Provide expertise on things like kitchen procedures, operations standards, in restaurant workflow / speed of service and needs related to crew training.
  • Support the innovation stage process including whitespace potential and implications on ‘Right to Win’.
  • Analyze relevant insights, market trends, and innovations to inform menu needs, identify gaps, and determine concepts to test.
  • Consult on defining product specifications and capability requirements to align with design and development objectives.
  • Provide strategic input on interpreting consumer testing results and advising on product selection for Market 0(s) testing.
  • Advise on the development of success criteria for Market 0(s) test products to ensure measurable outcomes.
  • Recommend refinements and strategic adjustments based on insights gathered from Market 0(s) testing.
  • Provide Senior leadership updates on initiative progress, keeping projects on track and budget where applicable.

Experience

 

  • Minimum 5 years business experience required with progressive responsibilities owning initiatives and driving strategy at the Manager band or above.
  • College Degree preferred
  • Experience in working in a global matrix organization, specifically in restaurant operations to apply knowledge in designing, deploying, and validating products seamlessly
  • Knowledge and experience in testing and deploying restaurant and customer facing solutions within market
  • Held previous roles in market field operations
  • Proven critical thinker with end-to-end expertise in strategy and deployment.
  • Must be fluent in English, with both strong written and verbal skills
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally based on project needs
  • Embraces “how might we” mindset without being too tied to status quo or known constraints.

Salary Range

The expected salary range for this role is $130,434.00 - $163,042.00 per year
